- Bio:
- Based in Leeds, Hayashi are a live band who have gained a reputation for playing high energy sets influenced by drum and bass, breakbeat, hip-hop. Drummer/producer Gideon Woods and Bassist/producer Ben Coleman started Hayashi as a studio project in 2003 and since then this partnership has developed.
With the phattest rhythm section since Sly & Robbie, the Hayashi sound comprises jaw dropping drumming and big Bass grooves complemented by melodies that are lush and dirty in equal measure. Hayashi also features the talents of Leeds based vocalists including Oova, D3.
